What did you expect from a woman who took a job going out in public and telling lies for her boss? I thought that 1. she dressed oddly for someone with such an important position, and 2. her demeanor screamed of a petulant sixth-grade girl on the playground, not a serious political actor
Arkansas is a funny state. The northwest corner, where the university is, is sort of a liberal enclave in a very, very conservative state. But that the state would elect this woman, who has absolutely no credentials other than being the daughter of a former governor and the lying mouthpiece for trump, says all you need to know about the rest of it.
Just this month, without notification, more than a third (427,000 people) of life-or-death recipients were kicked off Arkansas’s Medicaid program, for vague administrative reasons.
Aside from the fact that the GOP want to return to the 16th century for social, education, and health programs, MAGA / Nazis want would just rather the “takers” die in agony in the streets or on some relative’s couch.
Medicaid is funded with Federal and State dollars, with the states administering it. The Feds match, dollar for dollar, what the states contribute. And so-called “red” states are notorious for denying coverage, with wildly varying rules. Bottom line is that human life in Republican-run states are valued rather low.

The lack of humility/honor/dignity makes it easy for some politicians to feel they’re ABOVE the law.

Such vehement Hyperbole tends to suggest a similar level of guilt. It leaves a tell-tale lump when swept under the carpet.
