God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness. God called the light day, and the darkness He called night. And there was evening and there was morning; the first day. —- Genesis 1:3-5
I guess people like the “artist” are producing for people too dumb to learn science. For example, we now have some nice images taken from a satellite in an L1 orbit that show the progress of the moon’s shadow across the earth during a total eclipse of the sun. Which says that the idea of the above cartoon is just incredibly dumb.

TFG can grift some donations by telling the true believers “that only he can bring the sun back – so send money now”.

Do I really need to say that I absolutely understand the causes of an eclipse and still find this amusing.
