I’ve been inventing great adventures in my mind since I was 6 or 7! I have a huge repertoire company of characters and dozens of plots (with dozens of variations) that have entertained me while waiting in movie lines, doctor’s offices, and traffic jams (to name just a few). At 80 years old I still derive great pleasure from my stories. I’ve even written some of them down (about a half-million words worth, but all fan-fiction, so not publishable).
