I prefer a good brisk walk to running.

“Only” 20 minutes of running. That’s not bad and more than a vast majority of other people. A person has to start somewhere and that’s a pretty good start.

When I was working, I’d tell my coworkers that I do my most creative work in the morning, but by 9am I’m shot for the day.

Panel 2: Did Connie just litter? Panel 3: Someone better tell “Jaws” that he has some competition. Panel 4: Is that a second ice cream bar, or did Connie pick up the stick and start sucking on it?

If they weren’t planning on only running for 20 minutes, who’s porch are they sitting on?

Walking seems better for you. Not as much pressure on the knees

20 is a lot better than I’ve done in years.

Running stinks. I’ll do it, but CrossFit is where it’s at. Never a dull workout

I know Elly has teeth because her ice cream is showing tooth marks, but that 3rd panel makes me think she is about to swallow the rest of the ice cream including the stick whole.

I loved running marathons. Alone with my thoughts. Too bad my legs disagree with me now.

I hate being woken up in the morning before my usual time of 7:30AM.

I see no mention of Farley today. (Maybe there is one or two). I am thankful that we can put the dog to rest.

I hope Connie picks up that ice-cream stick she just tossed.

A 20-minute run isn’t bad at all. That should be good for two miles.

An occasional ice cream bar is not going to hurt you.

Most people have one side (leg) shorter than the other. Normally it’s not going to affect you, but if it’s 1/4" (I was 5/16) or more running is going to really going to a number on your joints and hips unless you get your shorter side adjusted, usually with an insert in your shoe. If you’re right-handed your left side is usually the shorter one and vice-versa.

I had French first period as a high school sophomore. It was my best subject probably since it was the first class I had.
