I heard Trump say Abbott is on his VP list and thinks he’s great! That could be a twofer to get rid of both in November when they lose! Then Texas and the US would be Soooo much better off.
Industrial hemp is a valuable commodity, production used to be prodigious until it was associated with MJ — without much justification. It also figured in a minor Civil War battle. Check for the “Battle of the Hemp Bales” or Battle of Lexington, MO. The little town was also a major market place for mules, another valuable commodity during the Civil War — for both sides.
(I wonder if that 1862 cannonball is still lodged in Courthouse’s porch column.)
