By now some of you will have read about the high winds we had today. I have a 6 foot cactus in my front courtyard. It’s now laying across my courtyard and the pot is in 20 pieces. Trees are down all over the valley. Worse, I can’t breathe. My allergies are like " You dare to breathe dust? Well we’ll just shut the whole system down." It is supposed to end by 10 AM. We’ll see.
Yesterday was Associate Appreciation Day at my Walmart. We had ice cream n the break room. We had a choice between putting our ice cream in a cone or in a bowl. And there were several different toppings for us to use. So that was pretty nice.
Is anyone seriously worried about a cat? Most would move casually aside with inches to spare just to show off. A very few might join the animals for funsies.
Man, talk about suspense! Hope the cat is able to get out of the way. (Or better yet, save the day.) On another note, saw a wren, five varied thrushes, a robin, and a duck while out walking today.
