Many years ago when I was working, I would leave my 2 dogs free ranging in the house while I was gone. Occasionally during the day I would call home, (on the landline with built in answering machine) wait for the answering machine to pick up and loudly say “Max! Daisy! Get off the couch!” I never knew if it worked of course, but it was fun thinking it did.
During a Frasier episode when Martin was staying with Niles instead, Niles came home to find Eddie the Jack Russel Terrier happily running in circles on top of the table. Niles squeaked; without looking up, Martin said, “Eddie, whatever you’re on, get off.”

It’s a given since it’s your favorite place to nap when it isn’t cold out and even then at times. Dear knows you very well, Fred.

;-D I try to image Mr. Dear doing the same: getting comfortable on Fred’s beanbag/ bed while Fred is out, busy with the lads…
