I don’t think she’ll make a good president, but any spoiler for the T-p campaign…

I believe she is hoping that if Trump is either is in jail or dies from whatever is making him look so bad, that she will be the only candidate by the time the nominating convention is held. She won’t be. In that case, everyone who “suspended” their campaigns will instantly become active again and there will be additional people who suddenly become interested. The RNC is under no obligation to choose her simply because she is the runner up. And, there will be many Trump supporters in attendance even if he is in jail. His being dead might diminish their enthusiasm, but I’d bet good money he’d still get a pretty good percentage of the votes. And, if they choose him this summer, they are going to have to hold their breath that he is still alive and not in jail by November. Whatever, whoever is the nominee, the party will put on a show worthy of a lot of popcorn.

What is needed in that toon is a pile of trump on the ground instead of trump on top.

We’ve gotten so used to very tight races that we see 60/40 as a complete blowout. This view leads to ignoring the large minority supporting the loosing side.

We need to get away from every mechanism that is a winner take all process. People do not want one side to “take it all” so their response is to flip back and forth each election cycle. It is no accident that things are always finely balanced.
