No surprise there. Why isn’t the FBI and Tax not applying forensic accounting on him? Don’t they want to find the scams, grifts, bribes and other assorted chicanery Trump has been doing all his life.

He will probably give them money only if they “Investigate” Hunter Biden. He did that for Ukraine.

If there weren’t already so many other reasons to dislike the Orange Blob, this would be enough.

Naturally he won’t be able to recall the call later. Another case of courtroom amnesia.

Does the Maga-inspired GOP see a PRIVATE INTEREST “president” as “stronger” than those presidents who served the Constitution/public?

That’s the real message Trump was giving: pony up the money, boys, ‘cause I need it. And even then he’ll let Russia do whatever Putin wants…

Basically, and don’t show this to Ted Rall, he’s convinced Russia has no more aggressive intentions.

I’m all for NATO but they do need to pony up their share, specially the ones with good economies and small forces

    Don Feleone?

Another Don, Donnie Deutsch, noted this morning that too many Americans are not paying attention. Seem to have their heads in their tuchus’. It is a very bad idea to put this mafiosi timeshare salesman back in the big chair.

Not to be unexpected, NATO and other allies around the world are already highly suspect of the the U.S. having the political will to honor its committments anymore. If Insurrectionist45 were to be re-elected, that would increase.

A little tidbit I found on the interwebs this morning:

A former US Army general says Donald Trump’s animosity toward NATO has nothing to do with its members not spending enough on their own defense.

“Trump hates alliances. He hates an obligation where he’d have to live up to something,” retired Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, a former commander of US Army Europe, told the British newspaper The Times in a story published Monday.

“Mafia type that he is, he doesn’t want anybody restricting his options. He couldn’t care less about moral obligations. He’s willing to chuck the whole thing away,” the retired lieutenant general added.

On Saturday, Trump said at a rally in South Carolina that he’d encourage Russia to do “whatever the hell they want” to NATO members who weren’t meeting their spending obligations.

The former president has received backlash for his remarks on the military alliance. On Saturday night, the White House slammed Trump’s comments, calling them “appalling and unhinged.”While some Republican Party officials have downplayed Trump’s remarks as a negotiating tactic, Hodges told The Times that he believed Trump was “absolutely prepared” to abandon Europe if he was elected president again.

“We would be foolish not to take at face value exactly what he says,” Hodges told the newspaper. “In his last term, he did have people around him who were able to moderate certain things, at least for a period of time.”

Donald Trump makes up a completely phony story about forcing NATO members to “pay up” (NATO doesn’t work that way) and no one holds him accountable.

Whether he’s losing his faculties or he’s just an incompetent, how can anyone support that man’s return to the White House?

UG: Yep. But Trump teed the whole mess up in Helsinki. He probably told Putin that if he was re-elected, he would do nothing to help Ukraine. And/or asked Putin to attack Ukraine if he wasn’t re-elected to make his successor look bad. Don’t bother to argue with me until you can provide transcripts of the Helsinki meeting proving otherwise. Note that Trump carefully made sure transcripts do not exist.

‘Guess he lied?’: Lindsey Graham skewered online after his old Ukraine video surfaces

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was shredded on social media Tuesday — the same day he voted against a Ukrainian aid package — after video surfaced of insults he levied against the Biden administration over the lack of help sent to the war-torn nation.
