Why do the republicans scrape the bottom of the barrel for their candidates? All of them seem hell bent on enslaving America via fascism. Only the top handful are safe in those regimes.
I wonder why people think politicians are vacuous self-serving liars, who say what they think people need to hear just to further their own ends, regardless of the cost to others?

No one is surprised here about DuhSantis………………..about last week’s DMZ, we had a rare moment where Stanti, Ted and I were all in agreement on an issue, immigration, to the point where, should I be Ferndenuthouse, I’d be thinking thinking they had stolen my notes………………….which, I don’t have. That being said, Ted did fail to call out Stanti for one major error, where Stanti drew a parallel between India and China and their populations. Nothing could be more opposite, as China is perilously in trouble with his lack of newborns and rapidly aging population……………..Ted, that point is the very reason we need immigration, and you let it slide. Stanti’s comment, that Americans like to make fun of India and China’s population, could possibly be minced to suggest that they were moving in opposite directions. But I don’t think he was actually suggesting that point, and you should have clarified the matter. And yes, I know that’s not his name, but REALLY?:
Haley has gotten so desperate she is actually calling trump mentally incompetent and comparing him the BIDEN! I guess her time as a republicon is done.

Eerie how this happens. Chris Christie did the same thing in 2016; now we’ve got DeSantis doing it. What’s the over/under on Nikki Haley following the same pattern?
Lie down with dogs, get up with fleas. DeSantis thought he had a shot at the Presidency by running as “Trump lite”. But found out his policies didn’t play all that well outside of FL. Even in Florida, recently, the Democrats have won victories. In 2022 Jacksonville, FL’s largest city, elected its first Democratic mayor in decades. And, recently, a Democrat (Tom Keen) won the 35th Congressional District in Florida. So DeSantis doesn’t seem to be as popular as he thought in his home state.
