A majority of the US voters disapprove of how well Biden has handled the economy. Which is incredible only if you don’t understand that “the economy” is measured by things like the DOW or Nasdaq… and that people measure it much more personally by noticing that the prices for eggs, milk, pop-tarts etc are way up. Of course the price of gasoline is down, the price of new and used cars: Down. Number of jobs: Way up — but if you didn’t GET one of those new jobs, then “irrelevant”, right?)
From my perspective (we’re not hurting economically) the inflation is a reasonable price to pay for a soft landing after the very large inflation brought about by the Covid relief efforts (started by Trump’s administration, recall). But I can see how folks who’re living paycheck to paycheck would feel more harmed than I do.
Biden is still making good things happen; I think by next November, most people will be doing at least Somewhat better, enough so they’ll want to see the improvements continue.

That, and the reversal of Roe-v-Wade, should see Joe cruise to a Resounding win. The ONLY thing that could stop this is Democrats feeling complacent and staying home, like they did with Hillary. Should they do that, then they’ll have Proven they did not Deserve to enjoy living in a Democracy. And they will pay the price. (Unfortunately, so will the Rest of the world, so Please! Come November Next. Make sure you vote, and encourage everyone else you can to vote too.)
Today, 01/26/2024, a jury awarded E. Jean Carroll $83.3 million. Lady deserves to get every penny of that. At the same time the R party chair was declaring tRump the presumptive nominee before any votes have been cast in the 48 remaining states. Anybody see something wrong with this picture? And don’t start on tRump is the victim s**t. He had any number of legal avenues to pursue if he, indeed, was innocent of raping Ms. Carroll. Instead he chose to use the office of and power of the presidency to lie and defame her. He can p**s and moan all he wants he will pay.
