Consider it as Climate Change and it all makes sense.

Doesn’t take much to upset a delicate balance.

Extreme drought and flooding. Extreme heat and cold. In places where it doesn’t happen. Crop failures. Add in, more humans than the planet can sustain, dark times are ahead.

Seems like this cartoonist doesn’t understand the difference between “climate” and “weather.”

I don’t quite get this one. Is he saying that he’s SHOCKED! that rich people spent a lot of money at a rich persons conference for entertainment? I would be SHOCKED! that he’s SHOCKED!. He must not be paying attention.

Is the snowman his way of saying that since there is a snowman, global warming is a hoax? We could explain it to him, but that would be pointless since he won’t listen to something that goes against his ideology.

And calling the uber rich, elite is redundant. By the definition of “elite”, the rich are elite. Davos tells me that the rich are concerned about Climate Change and Global Warming. If it hits the fan, being rich isn’t going to help much. The rich are fat and the poor are hungry.

“…a rich persons conference for entertainment…”

Interesting (and highly accurate) description of “climate change”.

So, IF we do everything the climate activist want, will the climate revert back to 1800? No?!? Then maybe we should do more talking about adapting to the new climate instead.

    This is lame.

    Just. Lame.

Is this what happens when you just have to get something submitted before deadline, or miss out on getting paid?

Their showpiece, titled “Performing Hope”, aimed to raise the spirits of guests worried about “the impacts of climate change and encourage them to keep taking action in their own small ways,” organisers said.

I always laugh at seemingly endless number of private jets parked on the ramps of nearby airports, so these global elitists can mingle amongst themselves in the most opulent settings, whilst patting themselves on the backs for saving the planet.

With all the apparent antipathy towards “the elite”, you’d think beckom would favor taxing their excesses as much as when America Was Great. And yet for all their claims of populism, they support policies that do precisely the opposite.

None of Jesus’s apostles were cellists. So all cellists must be Satanic. How a certain cartoonist thinks.

I love it when people rail against the “elites”. Dictionarydotcom defines “elite” this way:

“the choicest or best of anything considered collectively, especially of a group or class of people”

Why, indeed, would ANYONE want the best person to work a tough job?

Might have to rethink the background and/or character:

“In 2023, the country’s glaciers lost 4% of their total volume, according to data from the Swiss Commission for Cryosphere Observation of the Swiss Academy of Sciences. This level melting is second only to the record set in 2022, when 6% of glaciers were destroyed.

To put this into perspective, Swiss glaciers have lost as much ice over this two-year period as was lost over the three decades between 1960 and 1990." (CNN)
