I do not agree with this. The 14th Amendment is VERY clear. Claiming that this is a political move – as the MAGA actions are – is dishonest at best. We are talking about someone who has already declared his intentions to be a dictator, and who has already attempted to overthrow the government. This isn’t politics – this is survival for our country.
Bramhall doesn’t usually parrot MAGA drivel! The Constitution is pretty clear! The main argument from the Trump side is that the President is not an officer in the executive branch of government. That seems to be very twisted logic to me! There is an office called the Presidential office. And I’d sure say the main tenant of that office would be the officer. But Lawyers don’t always make sense, nor do they want to!
Well here ya go lying again Mr. Bramhall. The judges in Colorado were all Republicans. I’d te4ll ya to go put that in your pipe and smoke it, but it is obvious you and your rocky mountain high are already bosom buddies.
The Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling cited a precedent written and used by U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch before he was installed on the bench, and based it on tRump’s own quotes of being an insurrectionist.
