I liked the six figure sicko, except it should have been eleven figure sicko. I am tired of the news media covering them whenever they have anything to say. We need a remote button that would cut to the next news item whenever they appear.
For those not into statistics, one standard deviation indicates a statistically significant deviation from the mean. “A few standard deviations” is WAY away from the mean.
(If the mean is 50th percentile, +1 standard deviation = 84.1%ile, +2 SD = 97.7%ile, +3 SD = 99.9%ile.)
