Too bad the mental health experts focus so much time and effort on the addictions of children and less on those sick people that are a true threat to society.

    W. C. Fields as Uncle Sam? I guess it makes a kind of sense, addictions being all akin: alcohol, tobacco, opioids, social media, and, for “our” government in D.C., corporate baksheesh.

I’m trying to understand the reason behind the hypocrisy of “concerned” parent who homeschool, ban books, etc … yet elect clownish representatives who delay, postpone, object, or obstruct legislation instead of working together with other members of Congress to regulate/moderate social media to be safe/trustworthy for children as other countries have done [or are in the process of doing].

An former executive for a social media platform said letting your child go to bed with their phone is like letting them sleep with a loaded weapon. None of them let their children on those platforms.

Kind of funny, as it’s been reported that Zuckerberg won’t let his own kids on social media.

Kids don’t have enough money to buy iPhones, laptops and TVs. They don’t have the money to pay for subscription services. Parents do.

Stop buying them! Your kids will be unhappy and hate you. Welcome to parenting.
