They get all that junk into your mouth and expect you to talk around it knowing it makes you feel like an idiot. I guess it helps make their day to be able to laugh at you behind your back. I just don’t answer and give them the eye.
In my early years, my dentist sang and smoked a pipe. Also told me I didn’t need anesthetic when he gave me my only two fillings ever (I have doubts that the cavities actually existed). Yes folks, The Butcher of Haddonfield (NJ).
