Yes there is corruption in the US. Power corrupts. Try living in a country where corruption is rampant. When I lived in Kenya when we took students on field trips, we had to budget 20% to pay bribes for any business that we had to do with officials.
Zelensky has done a great job weeding out corruption in Ukraine, under trying times for his country.
As, for corruption in the USA. There are three corrupt conservative judges sitting on the Supreme Court that have had millions in free vacations, gambling debts suddenly paid off, and sudden beneficial real estate deals after being put on the court. Making bad judgements to benefit their illicit donors, and poor judgements in regards to abortion and so many other things. And that is only the tip of the iceberg of corruption on the right. Granted, much of their corruption, is being morally corrupt.
Sorry, much as Menendez needs to resign, as the Democratic members are asking him to, it’s far from a both sides do it, so if he doesn’t, well, the Republican Party has set that precedent.
The Repubs love and obstruct justice for and protect their corrupt members.

The othe day Ted Rall made a comment about knowing the difference between a country and its government. Chip needs to learn that difference.
Uncle Sam is NOT corrupt. Some of our politicians are. Some of our people don’t care, unless it’s the other party’s politicians, then they care.
I am sick of folks like Chip hating America and letting corrupt politicians off.
