The money involved is Iraqi money that was frozen by sanctions. The sanctions are being lifted, and the money unfrozen. This will cost the average taxpayer somewhere close to zero dollars and zero cents.

Giving money to the Taliban is abhorrent, but no less abhorrent than giving them the country.

And if Biden had left the hostages in Iran, the GQP would have beaten him up for that…
