The water in the USA contains a chemical that… in the USA… affects many people and causes bizarre mental issues including the inability to empathize with someone who’s a member of “the other” party… the inability to perceive natural consequences such as the consequence of allowing anyone to buy an inexpensive gun… the inability to understand that other people have actual rights that matter just as much as yours. And at least one other: The inability to distinguish truth from fiction when viewing television “news”.
No, I don’t know what that chemical is either. But you can detect it by its effects.
Europeans cannot understand some of the flaws such as no guaranteed health care and the gun craze. We’re supposed to be the example, but way out in right field with Drumpf.
I lived in France, which cured me from leftist ideology for life. Protests and strikes are an almost daily occurrence, as people who already have so much are always aggrieved that they don’t have enough. I can’t count how many times I got stranded because of railroad strikes. I lived near a hospital, remember seeing ambulance drivers on strike quite often, just sitting on the hoods of their ambulances, going nowhere. You have to be very choosy about what day you’re going to have a heart attack in France.
Hmm he spelt France Télévisions on the sweater right, usually Americans have enough problems with there own versions of English to expect them not to get a foreign language right.
Interesting that L’Enfant Plaza Trip Adviser write up is in French, I try to avoid the place
The riots in France had nothing to do with the young man that was murdered by a cop. It was opportunists using a situation to make an excuse for bad behavior. Some may be criminal factions, increasingly it’s been right wing instigators, as well.
I’m with Ted on this one. I get really frustrated at the wait-until-the-next-election mode instead of letting the offending politician know — in no uncertain terms — at the time when the misdeed was done … not, months/years later.
Peaceful protests are the ones that occur 10 to 20 blocks away from what they are protesting against so no one knows they exist, why there, because of politicians, who sucks up to who pays the most; who read about the protest at the various political rallies or the NRA convention, not many why they are kept hidden so they can be denied. How many times have peaceful protest been infiltrated by those who want to discredit them? People who deny the above are the ones who want protesting and demonstrations to end. Why is it that peaceful protesters are usually confronted with guns and clubs in efforts to intimidate them?

protests are a good thing and the USA has had their share of them, and about the same issue, too. Police Brutality

I’m guessing that Rall either doesn’t remember or more likely flat-out ignored the Women’s March for the past several years.

“No protests. No riots. No fires.” That’s not the France I remember from the past few weeks of news.

Americans think they’ll be the next millionaires, so they prepare by ensuring social programs are crippled.
