If Newsom is really THIS clueless, he deserves to be heard at LEAST as much as the orange mistake. Parity, y’know. But I have a hard time believing he’s that bad.
I could be way out in left field, but here’s how it looks to me: Not all, but most of the people who wield power in government live in an ivory tower. The higher they rank, the longer they’ve been isolated from the rest of us, and the more power they have, the higher their tower. And, thus, the thicker their insulation from us, and the more nebulous their ideas of our realities. Most of them really don’t know much about how the rest of us actually live or think. But they’re sure that they do, and most of them think and act and behave and speak and rule accordingly.
Newsom claims not to be running for president and thats probably true. However I’m going to predict that Biden will find a way to dump kamala as his 2024 running mate and pick Newsom. Beware America!
Please note: Idaho is closely tied to California. Many of the most virulent right wing conservatives(especially police, with a few off-grid survivalists) moved in.
In most of the US, say ‘San Francisco’ and you can’t be heard for the laughter. If we can just keep talking about reparations and the need for drag-queen storytimes, you may see enough fanatics come out and vote R so that any more elections will be unnecessary
