I’m pretty sure that’s lifted directly from the Invader Zim / Kim Possible crossover arc.

While I find it appealing that this strip can often take surreal turns, I can’t shake off the feeling that the events from June 12 have been playing out inside Kevin’s head. In [this strip’s] reality, Kevin is still lying unconscious in the shrub, while Miles is still tangled on the tree branch.

This is why they never should have gotten rid of Saturday morning cartoons!
