NATIONAL UPSY DAISY DAY. National Upsy Daisy Day is set aside to encourage you to face the day positively and to get up ‘gloriously, gratefully and gleefully’ each morning. Every day is a gift and if we remember that as we rise each morning, it will help us carry a good attitude throughout the day, whatever the day may bring us. Life is full of challenges and bumps in the road, and it is our attitude that helps us over the bumps and through the challenges to move onward with a smile.
NATIONAL NAME YOUR POISON DAY
WORLD OCEANS DAY
WORLD BRAIN TUMOR DAY. “World Brain Tumor Day raises awareness and educates people about brain tumors. The day also pays tribute to those affected by brain tumors. In the United States, over 700,000 people live with brain tumors. In just one year, 84,000 people in the country will be diagnosed with a brain tumor. Brain tumors are either benign (non-cancerous) or malignant (cancerous.) A malignant tumor is sometimes referred to as brain cancer. This type of cancer falls into the same category as central nervous system cancers. On a global scale, 330,000 children and adults worldwide were diagnosed with cancer of the central nervous system in one year. This number continues to rise along with the mortality rate for brain cancer.” Me here – I considered omitting this one because I don’t consider brain tumors to deserve a day. I knew someone – a former co-worker – who died of brain cancer. I only kept this one in because it “pays tribute” to victims of this horrible disorder. CANCER SUCKS!!!
Lil Ollie had nothing to do with that beating. Decades ago, a friend’s no nonsense big tabby scratched up a doberman that attacked him. The owner of the doberman wanted my friend to pay the vet bill!!!!!
Good for Chesney. It’s nice to see him take a break from being a stinker and defend Oliver. (Or anyone else, for that matter.) On another note, saw two swallows, a dragonfly, and a rabbit while out walking today.

It’s the old good big guy vs. good little guy thing. The little guy wins some of the time.

REINSTATE our MCTS and ELDO.
Two of the ‘good guys’.
What a revolting procedure banning them is.
