Goodwyn knows that Republicans have NO policies to debate. NONE.
This leaves nothing to debate except personal attacks. Republicans are good at personal attacks, since they practice it constantly, to the exclusion of everything else.
So, how can their debates be anything else?
.
Their ‘policies’ consist only of ‘issues’ they weaponize and LIE about.
I’ve been alarmed at the direction the Republican Party has taken. It no longer seems interested in developing policies to address important issues. Instead, the RP seems to be developing ways to implement cultural change. It reminds me of how China implements cultural change. I’ve been reading about a program being used in China called social credits. I just started so I don’t know a lot but here’s what I have read so far. Citizens choices in this program earn their social credits. They earn if their behavior is approved by the committee or some algorithm. The more acceptable behavior such as political statements, watching the approved videos etc. earns the citizen additional credits. They can trade these credits for approved purchases, travel privileges, etc and without the credits their choices are limited. google Chinas Social Credit System Explained for more details.
I agree! It’s so much fun watching Republicans argue over the different versions of the same lies they created about Democrats. Let’s just sit back and watch them focus on that ball they want to play with.
Read that Christie might not qualify for the debate because of a new Republican National Committee requirement that candidates have to have 40,000 donors to participate. He’s well short of that number.
This is how Cult-45 got the nomination in 2016. Instead of working together to stop him, the other Republican contenders just kept attacking each other. I think people were fed up with it and went with the outsider. Then, once he was in, the Republican politicians just got in line, following Huckabee’s advice (get behind him or get out of the party). I also took his advice but chose the other option. I still haven’t forgiven the Republican Party for giving itself so thoroughly to this golden calf, and, based on their lack of repentance, I won’t be anytime soon. Forty years in the political wilderness won’t be nearly long enough to suit me.
The Republican primary won’t be like MMA. It will be like a playground “King of the Hill” where, one by one, Trump’s challengers will rise up against him, only to be tossed down the hill in shame.
They want a Trump. Until someone comes along who can out-Trump him, he’s their guy.

I thought Republican debates had been banned because they were too difficult for the front-runner.

Going to the candidates debate
Laugh about it, shout about it

Debate? An insult-fest where each contestant attempts to out-pander the rest.

As opposed to the Democrat’s Presidential debates. Which don’t exist at all.

MMA seems more like a GQP/MAGA enthusiasm, given their tendency to confuse manhood with the infliction of pain and humiliation on others.

Why not this is the second term when the Media won’t cover the Democrats.

Gop does not have a viable candidate, lie believing republicans have made themselves irrelevant.

I also find it very interesting that none of the Left wing comment makers actually pay for this site as premium members—-Chatbots?

A contest where they all claim they can be more fascist than the other. What a bunch of losers, that better lose.
