I think I can see what the therapist is getting at, but it is dangerous in these times. I recently saw a clip of three stinking piles of insecurities berating a woman for being raised by her mother. The reasoning by the three stinking piles of insecurities? The woman wasn’t being taught to be subservient to the desires of the men around her, but instead was taught to be her own person.
