He really enjoyed his time there watching people being tortured. No doubt he’ll bring it to the mainland if he gets elected.

If someone is looking for voter fraud, they should look to FL and TX. There is no way even the stupidest voters could elect deSatan, Rubio, Abbott, Cruz, et al. No way.

I predict the true Trump addicts will stay home and not vote in 2024 if the Orange Stain Skidmark is not the nominee.

Perhaps you would care for a little light entertainment while you wait? I have been composing a short opera. Would you like to hear a song or two?

    - No, thank you.

    Oh, you’ll love it. It’s a comedy. It’s calledThe Torturer’s Apprentice – here’s the overture:

The curtain rises on a typical everyday torture chamber. Ronsadork, the young apprentice, sings of his joy in his job

A torturer’s apprentice went his merry way to work one day

I bend and stretch and ply my trade making people all afraid

    But things look black

    Business is slack

There’s no one on the rack but me

Act four is set in an abattoir – I see a lot of slapstick – We begin with the arrival of the eunuchs’ chorus who sing ‘Cut Off in My Prime.’

    Cut off in my prime

Surrounded by beautiful women all the time

A eunuch’s life is hard, and nothing else

    – Excuse me a moment…

Oh, you won’t want to miss this aria. It reminds me of my school days in England!

Life is rather like a game

    It’s important that you win

And though it seem a terrible shame

If you lie and cheat and sin

Lay up and win the game!

    I’m a modern man

These days I find you have to be

    Awfully cruel to be kind

    I’m a modern man

    You will agree

    It’s either you or me!

Ted’s cartoon is clever and cutting—but coming back to reality: The DeSantis differentiator is his actions as governor versus Trump’s mere rhetoric. DeSantis and his state legislators have passed bills that conservatives like — banning the vile teaching of identity politics (we’re victims oppressed by you, etc.), fighting against indoctrinating children with kid-friendly versions of transgender ideology, encouraging school boards to respond to parents’ needs and values, being tough on criminals, etc. etc. DeSantis champions the conservative response to progressives’ assault on fairness (e.g. biological males beating girls in high school sports). That’s the DeSantis difference, as his supporters see it, not military service.

‘We are incredibly resilient’: Students vow to make DeSantis’ takeover of their school miserable

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis last year essentially conducted a takeover of the New College of Florida with the aim of transforming it into a right-wing educational institution on par with Hillsdale College in Michigan. However, Vice News reports that many current students at New College aren’t going down without a fight and have been organizing a “resistance” to what they call DeSantis’ plan to “destroy our school.”

DeSantis’ Disney fight blows up major Florida real estate projects: Wall Street Journal

Walt Disney’s scrapping of a $900 million development in Florida has derailed other major real-estate projects that are already underway, the Wall Street Journal reported Monday. The company canceled plans for office space and the relocation of 2,000 workers from California earlier this month amid a brutal feud with Florida’s governor and Republican presidential hopeful Ron DeSantis.

Trump’s all-caps Memorial Day message: ‘We must stop the communists, Marxists and fascist pigs!’

Former President Donald Trump paid tribute to America’s fallen military servicemembers on Monday by posting an all-caps rant attacking his political foes.Writing on his Truth Social platform, the former president linked the struggles faced in the past by soldiers in assorted American wars with the battles he’s engaged with his own domestic enemies.

Ron DeSantis vows to ‘destroy leftism’ and ‘woke ideology’ if elected president

That sounds like something a total fascist would say. Already he has alienated at least 50% of American voters.

Republicans want to FORCE Americans to be as ignorant and unwoke to reality as they are.

On the June 15th 2022 Rall/Stantis podcast, Rall notes that the head of Mercedes Benz makes a bit over 200K/year……………………….Nope, Rall mistook the salary of U.S.-based, high management-level, executive salaries, which are in the low 200Ks for that of Ola Kallenius, the Chairman of the Management Board, who made about 6.1 euro in 2022.

Bribing seemed to work well for the Dims (extra stimulus checks, student loan forgiveness, etc.). Maybe try that instead – it’s not like you have to follow through on any of your promises!
