I enjoy the fact that I don’t watch the bawking heads on the news. So I don’t have any idea how realistic this is. And imo, it doesn’t matter what they say because “bawk bawk bawk bkawk” is pretty close to the actual information content.

Gotta love politics – and those like Rall that understand the nonsense of it all.

News organizations spend waaay too much time talking about polls and exclaiming over the latest polls. In the end, polls are useless as they don’t tell us what we really need to know about them, how were the questions worded and did the the people they found answer them truthfully. In the past few elections I understand that people being polled have lied to the pollsters, telling them the opposite of what they really think. IMVPO we depend far to much on polls and in the end do the people we elected to make decisions really pay any attention to the latest poll results?

RFK jr’s 19% is a message from the Democratic voters that they want someone else besides the incumbent. The DNC should take heed.

RFK Jr hired Dennis Kuchinich for campaign manager….former Mayor of Cleveland who defaulted, and was so hated, and knew he was a target, he wore a bullet proof vest every where he went. Boo Hiss

RFK jr. still pushing the long time debunked lie that autism is caused by vaccines. Why would anyone, even Ted Rall, take him seriously?

Yes, Theodore you have ironically (for you) painted the correct picture. You see, one of these four candidates are not like the others; one is not a POS nutjob. Thus, your GQP scenario above reflects the stunted ponderings of the 74,223,975. And your Dem scenario reflects the significantly more adult views of the Left. And yes, you are correct, Biden is too old. As I told you, this will be your most common theme of the next 18 months, Biden’s age. And yes, I’d do a better job than Biden, simply by having the energy to git on the road and push my bully pulpit. That’s what’s really missing, that and more truth.

This simply speaks to the dearth of quality candidates in our current political environment. The current two party system and the influence of monied interest in the corridors of our state and federal institutions have blocked the pathway for anyone with unique ideas and true leadership. Never allow a candidate that might upstage the career power brokers we see running the show! A generation or more of our “political leaders” have survived, thrived and grew up in this realm, so is it no wonder we are given no one but septuagenarians and/or someone with a legacy name to offer up as an alternative.

Maybe those characters parroting the “nutjob” slur have a point. To go against the full power of the capitalism death cult and its global war machine, you’d have to be crazy!

You won’t find a Democrat anywhere who believes RFK is a Democrat.

In 2016 Trump received $1 billion in free publicity from the “Fake Media.” They called him “money in the bank.” He was on air 24/7. That wasn’t coverage. That was an endorsement. I wonder who the “Fake Media” will endorse this time?

I’d vote for either of those underdogs before I vote for biden or trump.

It’s very early, so the polls mean even less than they normally do. I don’t see RFK Jr. making a serious run, but I do expect DeSantis to make it a real race. Heck, trump could be a convicted felon by the end of summer. Another biden/trump ballot will make me puke. The Cadaver in Chief would probably win despite his poor job performance and approval ratings. But trump’s baggage grows weekly. DeSantis would beat biden IMO. Or Kamala Cackles Harris if Joe’s mental and/or physical health pulls him out of the race.

all I’ve been hearing from the talking heads is how quickly desantis’s star is falling and how much better trump is doing since the word of him being indicted has ramped up.

With Biden fairly locked in with over 50% of the Democratic primary vote there really is no race there. On the Republican side Trump or someone else could win the nomination with just 35% of the vote because there are more people running in a winner takes all system. So statistically speaking there is more of an open race on the Republican side, hence more coverage.

Anyone want to bet that Biden won’t cave to McCarthy when the “negotiation” Biden swore he wouldn’t do resumes?

He’s already said he won’t cite the 14th Amendment, so he’s left himself no choice but to surrender our wellbeing to the predators whom he not-so-secretly supports.

Does that sicken anyone but me?
