All pets go across the Rainbow Bridge when they pass away. They wait there until their beloved “hoomin” passes away and crosses the bridge. Then they are reunited forever.
Well, the signs are there. Humans spend a lot of time seated on it in deep contemplation and kneeling before it praying(mostly saying “Oh God.” over and over between offerings). Dogs drink from it whenever possible. The porcelen throne is indeed a portal to wonderous and magical places.
When I cross that rainbow bridge there will be a huge mob waiting for me, composed of dogs, cats, horses, goats, raccoons, rats, chickens, iguanas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and many others I can’t even think of right now.
As I said yesterday, the goldfish-centered themes are depressing, not funny… They focus on flushing dead fish… or spilling the bowl… or limited possibilities… just an odd choice for an otherwise raucously enjoyable strip.

next time you are having a drink Poncho, give it a good look! If you drink the blue water, you are in your way for certain!

I think the entire goldfish theme/thread is depressing and rarely funny. It always comes with a dark dimension, often about death.

Bart: “Is there a Doggy HeII?”
Homer: “Sure! Hitler’s dog is there, and one of the Lassies… the one that mauled Timmy!”

I wouldn’t worry about it if I were you, Poncho. :)
