I don’t understand the rhetoric that we need to do everything we can to stop putin in Ukraine (without doing too much, of course) because it’s better to stop him there than in Germany, Poland, France, etc. Putin/Russia is bogged down in eastern Ukraine in what has become a war of attrition. Russia would be slaughtered if they invaded a NATO country. It would be over in a week. Russia is not a formidable military force. If they squared off against South Carolina, I’d put my money on SC. :)

Ha, some Victory day! One ancient T-34 tank, no flyovers and the military troops on parade were not combat soldiers, they were cadets, auxiliaries and the children of high ranking politicians serving their mandatory military time in safe cushy positions.

Meanwhile it’s looking like Ukraine is kicking off its Spring counterattack.
