Woof! At Red’s age I still remember the sign off screen on both the tv stations we got! National Anthem and everything!

You don’t look a day over 14, Rover!

Love the Rabbit Ears antenna on top of the TV !

I remember a Scooby Doo cartoon parodying A Christmas Carol. Velma Dinkley was shown a vision of the future in which Scooby and friends were elderly. Scooby said to Shaggy, “I’m 525 in dog years.” That meant he was 75 in human terms and that the former teenage sleuths were still solving mysteries about sixty years later.

By the bad standards Rover is 4, but he’s not 28 by current standards.

Denial, denial, denial. Yip yip yip yip yip

They are too close to the TV, if nothing else.

TV is very educational. Every kid in my generation learned about the extreme hazards of dropping an anvil off a cliff to try to catch a roadrunner.

If nothing else, Red will have a properly developed sense of humor. Something we’re not allowed to have anymore…
