Actually, half the country did NOT vote for the Orange Traitor. Sadly, that’s because there are a lot of people who don’t vote. Just remember the majority of those that did vote and didn’t have their votes suppressed by the Republicons did not vote for the Orange Traitor.

He knew that if he waited for the other State DAs with more serious crimes he wouldn’t get as much attention. So he had to go early. Still a crime. Still deserves an indictment.

Unless they paid hush money to a porn star & used it as a tax deduction, there’s nothing to indict them for.

Mere political animus MUST be the sole driver of any prosecution of Trump by a Democratic D.A.—just as surely as mere racial animus MUST be the sole driver of any prosecution of any Black person by any White Republican D.A.

How about the evidence that he committed multiple crimes? The fact that he is a former President is immaterial.

What on earth is the connection between one’s electoral success (actually, lack of one) and Trump’s possible criminality? Oh, well, for the sake of a joke, sure, even if it is a really dumb joke. His legal problems in Georgia are more clear cut, Georgia has some very explicit and clear laws about corrupting elections. Born from long experience, I suppose.

A Grand Jury heard testimony and saw the evidence. They voted to indict. Trump has the presumption of innocence until the jury renders a verdict. The D.A. will present their evidence, Trump’s attorneys will refute and present their own evidence, and the Jury will decide. That is the way it is supposed to be.

According to the law, a sitting President cannot be indicted. Once Trump lost the fair election, all crimes, federal and state can be adjudicated.

What makes me sick to my stomach is all these elected Republicans suggesting that the rule of law does not apply to trump, because they are afraid of losing his support. It is enough to make me vomit.

I laugh because if the U.S. followed what we preached to foreign nations I don’t think the last 10 elections would be certified by the international body.
