Americans have been selling their viewing habits since the Nielsens. Nobody balked when PC’s came into every home or when we started carrying personal tracking devices on your hip. Your data has been sold to the highest bidder for decades. Why are people more upset that the Russians and Chinese will do the same? This is just xenophobic BS. If you’re going to be upset, be equally upset about it all.

And no one one the right EVER got this upset about white men gunning down children.

Spying with social media apps is the exclusive right of American companies.. They must not allow any competition.

Tik Tok becomes a big National Security threat simply because it is more successful than any other social media. But the reason Tik Tok should be banned is not because it is collecting info for the Chinese government but because it is a part of the narcissistic social media. Just like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram should be banned, as well as all the “influencers”. And while we’re at it, let’s also take care of the “influenced”.

Why did so many Americans get into Tik-Tok? How many social media devices does one need? A great waste of one’s wages/salary, when there are so many other traditional things to do or accomplish, and it helps widen the gap of wealth in this country from the saps to the 1%.

TikTok harvests your data. Facebook harvests your data. Twitter harvests your data. Instagram harvests your data. Why is only TikTok the problem?

Maybe we should have laws that NO social network can harvest your data.

I’ll bet the Republicans would call such laws “Communism.”

Hope they learn something about freedom.
