As a kid I lived in the country and had an outdoor dog. I let him in once and he made it to the couch but it was nearly impossible to get him off it with his growls, snarls and bared teeth. Finally my Dad used his authoritarian voice and Rex left the sofa.

You can’t keep a Boston terrier off of the furniture. They can really jump. Ours somehow climbed up two shelves one night when we went out to dinner, and got a bag of bacon treats. She and her accomplice, our Chihuahua, ate dang near an entire bag!
