In Watergate, there were 69 people indicted and 48 people—many of them top Nixon administration officials—convicted.

On January 6, even after the storming of the Capital, 147 members of congress voted to not certify the election. In seven states, 84 false electors filed certificates naming Trump the winner. Many of Trump’s lawyers and advisors were actually co-conspirators. Money was trafficked to the Proud Boys, Three Percenters, Oath Keepers by many right wing organizations. Even Ginni Thomas is believed to have bankrolled the transportation of the seditionists to the rally. Steve Bannon, Rudy Giuliani, Roger Stone, John Eastman, Jeffrey Clark, Ken Chesebro, Sidney Powell, Michael Flynn, Alex Jones, all had roles in the plan. Members of the media may have been part of the plan or the coverup.

Over 1000 people have been arrested and charged. It’s time to bring in those that planned the insurrection.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step towards recovery. Conservatives need more like Stantis. Liberals as well.

The video of Trump, wandering around with toilet paper trailing after him. I always said that it was proof that no one cared about him. No one said anything to him about it, not a word. I would tell a stranger, hey, dude, check your shoe.

But no one told Trump. They just didn’t care.

We have sworn testimony from multiple witnesses, most of them appointed by Trump’s administration, that the Trump administration and Trump himself spread the lie that the 2020 election wasn’t legitimate, starting even before the election, raised money with a campaign based on the idea that he was going to prove it, filed about 60 lawsuits to prove it, all of which were dismissed for lack of evidence, sent multiple tweets to his followers urging them to fight the “steal”, then called on his followers to come to “Big protest in DC on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!” Once they were there, he instructed the secret service to allow those with automatic weapons to come to the rally he was holding because “They’re not here to hurt ME”. Then he instructed people he knew to be heavily armed to march on the Capitol building to “fight”. He only called off the mob after three hours when it became evident that they were not going to be able to overthrow our democracy? If this isn’t treason, what could possibly be considered treason? Possibly stealing top secret documents? We have most of this on videotape, and all of it from multiple witnesses. What T’s and I’s need dotting and crossing? Is the plan just to stall long enough that most people just don’t care anymore— Trump is old, fat, and has a complexion that resembles the surface of the moon. He’s not going to last long, but the damage to the country will not be cured by his death. The next wantbe dictator needs to see him in jail.

DOJ won’t indict until and unless they are convinced they can win cases in court. Like many here, I’m exasperated at the amount of time this is taking. I can only hope justice gets actually served.

Unfortunately, there are some in the GOP who would look at this as a badge of honor, proving Trump’s infamous quote about not losing support even if he stood in the middle of 5th Avenue and shot someone.

If the left wing, Marxist Democrats had any credible, provable charges to bring against President Trump, they would have done so long before now. Basically all these accusations and innuendos are election interference for 2024.

Not to worry, Stantis. Georgia Republicans are passing laws that will enable them to prosecute any AG that investigates a Republican.

After all, the law says, It’s OKAY If A Republican Does It.
