Having worked in the service industry, I wholeheartedly support the idea of a customer training program.
Hmm…. does a job shadower just OBSERVE? If so…. bah. If a shadower gets to drink too….. then….. I’d give job shadowing Richard a try…. he looks like he would be willing to give Mark a lot of practice. (hic)
Nice twist. I don’t like the “too much information” given by a server. I enjoy a certain familiarity but it should not be overdone.
At a tea house in Santa Barbara, the server sat down across from us and chatted for a minute before taking my order.
My date was confused. “Do you know that guy?”
“Never saw him before in my life.”
not w/o a valid i.d. he won’t!
