Cats don’t need no f***ing sleeping pills!

Sleep is every cats middle name.

I sleep okay most nights, but there are nights when I wish I could fall asleep in my bed as easily as I fall asleep in my chair while watching TV.

Today is:

NATIONAL BANANA BREAD DAY

NATIONAL TOAST DAY. I baked bread yesterday, so I’ll make toast with that today.

NATIONAL DOG BISCUIT DAY

NATIONAL CHILI DAY

NATIONAL TILE DAY

I did call in to work yesterday and enjoyed the extra day off. We didn’t get much snow at all. Looking out the windows, it looked like a non-event, but we actually had freezing rain, which is worse than snow. Areas south of us, closer to the Illinois border got more ice than we did. Areas north of us got the snow.

Sleep is the best medicine. Speaking of which…

Nothing like truth in advertising.

I miss little LJ sleeping with me so I brought Orange Kitty in from the kitty bungalow for the night. After knocking over several pictures and a vase of flowers, plus scratching the virgin couch then running out the front door in the dark as I was bringing in a tender plant, I put him back to sleep it off with his friends. 10 year old kitten! Our forecast is for heavy SNOW tonight through Saturday, highly unusual for us in the valley. Can’t wait!! All paws are crossed that intermittent rain doesn’t melt it.

My two have no problem sleeping.

If my cat doesn’t get to sleep for 20 hours every day she might think she has insomnia!!!

Sleeping pills? Cats don’t need no stinkin’ sleeping pills! Saying a cat needs sleeping pills is like saying a fish needs scuba gear. On another note, saw seven varied thrushes and a wren while out walking today.
