Add to that the toxic waste dump that is now Palestine, Ohio. I don’t criticize Biden for going to Ukraine, but I do for his cavalier attitude towards a disaster in the homeland along with Peties no show. In fact, Ukraine is one of the few things I agree with him. I’d give him a “B” for his response to Putin’s invasion of a sovereign nation. The only reason he doesn’t get an “A” is that I feel he should have acted faster with more equipment. Ukraine should’ve had Abrams MBT last summer and had pilots training on Vipers and Eagles.
I take it that Mr. Mike “Neville Chamberlain” Lester would prefer that we just sit back and let the Russians plow through countries we’ve promised protection to. In the 1990’s Ukraine gave up the nukes they had left over from the dissolution of the Soviet Union in exchange for a guarantee of their security. We signed on to that and we owe them.
Like republican’s really care about what they platformed on. if they cared, they would be working on that rather than worrying about the laptop, trying to do all revenge investigations, and all the other worthless things they have been doing.
Wait Wait…… Why should my tax money go to “Explosions” Once again the Republicans want to cover private industry financial obligations with tax dollars.
Norfolk Southern is responsible for this disaster, They earned a profit from transporting goods. They they need to pay for it.

Typical Democratic response, throw billions of dollars at it.

Presidents do not appropriate funding. Congress does that.
Also, there is nothing the US is missing out on because we’re supporting Ukraine’s defense. Zero trade-offs.
Finally, the defense of Ukraine is also the defense of the United States.
