Toilet Seat Warriors like Mr. Allie like to pretend that they would know what to do in these situations, but they really haven’t a clue. Perhaps the simplest answer is that the military figured out what the balloon could find out and made sure that it couldn’t get it. Then they could drop the balloon somewhere that would not include the off chance of falling on someone.

This toon is either an anachronism or a lie. Biden depicted holding an assault style weapon is either out of context or represents the typical hypocrisy messaging of the left.

Every time I see something about shooting down baloons the intro to Nina Hagen’s 99 Red Baloons starts playing in my head.

Just a little behind current affairs with this one, actually a lot. Guess if you can still squeeze even a drop of disinformation out of this one you are doing your job. Sure is a lot of china stoking and Biden bashing in the propaganda comics today. Fairly obvious where your national loyalties LIE.

Furthermore, the Chinese launched 4 new spy satellites last year. So there is no intelligence the balloon could collect that wasn’t already available from other Chinese sources.

Therefore, wait until the balloon is over water, shoot it down where the debris will not harm those on the ground and collect the remains for study, which is exactly what the US did.

And still no mention of the 260 spy satellites that China has, presumably gathering info each day, nor the fact that we have hundreds doing the same to them. But the balloon is a visible thing so it gets commented on.

This cartoon is a lie, as well as plain stupid…
