I don’t understand how people lose remotes. All the remotes i’v had over the years and i have never lost one.

At my moms we just ask the long time ghost where it is. Inevitably it shows up on the corner of the dining room table.

If all else fails, try using the knobs.

When I was a child..I WAS the remote..plus the “rabbit ears” adjuster…but then the past two generations have no idea what rabbit ears were. OK, I am aware YOU know but millions don’t.

I have four remotes on my table. One turns the TV on and off, one controls the volume and input, one controls the DVD player, and the last one is my Amazon firestick.

Whenever we rent a condo at the beach, we have to figure out which of the 4 remotes to use and what the sequence of button presses are to turn the TV on.

Isn’t there an app for that? One where you swipe or tap something and the remote comes running to the phone? That is, if you can find your phone.

A remote should be engineered for humans. It should be the size, shape and weight of a brick. Hard to lose those down the back of the sofa.
