The guy in the bottom right has a LOT more reason for his fears than those others.

It shouldn’t be like this. The police are supposed to help, not hurt, maim, and kill the people they need to serve.

When I was in grade school, we lived across the street from our police chief. He was never off-duty. If there was a dispute on our block, he often settled it before it got too heated. Every Halloween, we loved going to his house as he was generous with the candy. That wasn’t popular with the dentists, but Halloween never is.

Upon sensing the flashing lights behind you, pull off the road, turn on our flashers, keep your hands in sight, sit still, be respectful, saying sir a lot, it just might work – maybe.

My greatest fear is irrational partisanship that divides a populace against each other … even politicians and the police against the general population.

The media stooges of the left have zero credibility. Their cries of racism always seem to change to the point of being insane. Now it’s white supremacy when black cops kill a black driver. They just make stuff up.

It’s why they are called loons.

Prepare for the worst if the officer has his hand on his gun or has it out.

Combining the factors of dangerous, stress-filled jobs, low pay, and the human propensity to be corrupted by power, and I’m amazed there are as many good cops as there are. Now that I’m an old guy with a clean driving record, I get more breaks than I deserve. Back when I was a young smart-a with a fast car, I got to use the word “sir” a lot.

“When you see thugs being thrown into the back of a paddy wagon, you just see them thrown in; rough. I said, ‘please don’t be too nice,’” The ex president said at a Suffolk County, New York event during his tenure. “Like when you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put your hand over it. Like, don’t hit their head. I said, you can take the hand away, O.K.?.”

4 years of encouraging violent police tactics enabled cops to operate with increased impunity. We certainly did not expect them to reform did we?

Unless you’ve lived there for spell…active in civil rights, civil liberties. In which case, the copper usually walks over to the driver-side window and says…“Where are you going, Ed?”
