I’ve finally learned that when you’re the smartest or most creative person in the group, it’s time to find a new group. You learn from people who lift you to a new level. Dummies pull you down.
Get people to talk about themselves and you will at least appear to be the smartest person in the room. You will, at worst, be considered a great conversationalist.
It’s really easy to be the smartest guy in the room, by yourself, but watch out if you start talking to yourself you might find you are still not the smartest guy in the room…
