I understand that in some civilized countries they tell you what you owe (cause who would know better than the folks with fingers in all your cookie jars) and you pay the bill. If they want to cut costs for the IRS and taxpayers, why not simplify the tax system and get this magic software that everyone else uses?

Because the people would know that they could have health care and all to other government services cheaper than it cost now.

And Republicans want to defund the IRS, or at least cut it back so those two operating lanes for common folk becomes just one lane that isn’t staffed many hours per day…

All tax dollars should go as tax breaks to rich people who donate to republicans.

Any tax dollars returned to middle class tax payers is socialism.

Rightwing group pours millions in ‘dark money’ into US voter suppression bid

The advocacy arm of the Heritage Foundation, the powerful conservative thinktank based in Washington, spent more than $5m on lobbying in 2021 as it worked to block federal voting rights legislation and advance an ambitious plan to spread its far-right agenda calling for aggressive voter suppression measures in battleground states.

Previously unreported 2021 tax filings from Heritage Action for America, which operates as the foundation’s activist wing, shows that it spent $5.1m on contracting outside lobbying services. The outlay comes on top of $560,000 the group invested in its own in-house federal lobbying efforts that year, as well as registered lobbying by Heritage Action staffers in at least 24 states.

The Republican Base continues to believe that tax breaks for the wealthy and for patriotic multinational corporations benefit them personally.

The Base may not all be Trump Disciples, but they all have Trump Disciple analysis skills.

If Mr. Wuerker wanted to be more accurate, he would have a Democrat and a Republican letting the limo through.

And yet people keep voting for Republicans.

Republicans are forcing America into class strata, and republicans HATE the people at the bottom and offer NO help.

And Republicans are determined to keep it this way.
