Abby’s looking at this entirely in the wrong way—she should be using this as a teaching opprotunity for the kids, so to help them to learn from their popcorn popping error so they know better than to make it again and thereby make them more self-sufficient…not use it as an excuse to never again trust the kids with anything, EVER.
