The way I understand it, Wanda gave them those cards. But he said “Nice haircut” at the front door, before he went further into the house and saw the cards.

That’s one way to do it.

I mean, it does look like her usual hair.

I always had long hair, reached to my lower back, but around age 27 I decided that I just didn’t want to deal with long hair anymore and it was just too hot in North Central PA in the summer plus the humidity that I always had to have it up in a ponytail and that didn’t help my migraines so I dediced to get it cut, I donated 20 inches to Locks of Love. I talked to my then husband, now ex, first to see if he would mind because he always loved my long hair and he said he understood but I never told me parents or sister what I was doing. About 2 days after I had it done we went to my parents for dinner and as soon as I walked in the door my Mom came over and yelled " You cut your hair it looks great". But it took my Dad and sister about an hour to even notice and Dad said it looked great but of course as always my sister had to be negative toward me and told me it looked stupid and I would regret it, but at age 50 now I still keep it cut to top of shoulder and never regretted it. Of course, she also awlays had to do what others did so less than a year later she got her long hair cut too.
