Biscuit: Sigh. Val: Guard the house. Biscuit: Purpose! Things in this family can get pretty chaotic for a dog. No walking, getting brushed, playing fetch...and they all rush off without so much as a goodbye.

I try to say goodbye to MY dog if we are leaving for like an hour or 2.
