The Senate passed legislation authorizing pay raises for railroad workers. In a separate 52-43 vote, it rejected seven days of paid sick leave. Someone’s been dipping into the egg nog before drawing, I fail to see any failure by the president here, just the Repub senators rejecting this measure which all workers should have.
All of a sudden Chip became a union man – comment from an actual (inactive) steel worker union member that wouldn’t be thrilled with the agreement that 2/3rds of unions agreed to, but agrees that a Christmas strike had to be avoided.
‘Another happy jobs day’: Economists thrilled with ‘amazing’ report as jobs growth beats expectations, wages increase
The Biden economy added a whopping 263,000 jobs last month, crushing expectations of 200,000, and wages are growing as well, leading one economist to declare “another happy jobs day.”The U.S.Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) adds that unemployment remains at a near-historic low of 3.7% in November, “and has been in a narrow range of 3.5 percent to 3.7 percent since March.”
Then why did they get a 24% percent raise? Also I am afraid it is you who are spreading a lie, Union Pacific workers get 20 to 30 PTO to use how they see fit, vacation sick days.
I understood the union wanted 7 more sick days. No mention of how many they have now. I work in a very large international union, and sick day have always been in the contract (since me starting in 1984)

Biden not only controls global energy prices and inflation around the world, but he’s also in charge of telling Republican senators how to vote!

Everyone knows Republicans couldn’t care less about the health and welfare of Railroad workers or anyone else.

Bok is right. The Federal government should mandate sick leave for railroad and ALL other American workers.

Republicans have no idea how to tackle inflation, gas prices, crime and the border. They are good with shiny objects for their base.

But Biden has the railroad union crisis solved! I know he does because the Mainstream Media reported it.

Over 200 Republicans voted against sick leave for railroad workers. Must be Biden’s fault!

Bok claims that it was Biden who denied sick leave to railroad workers.
Just another LIE. It was yet another Republican filibuster.

Why is it that the right wing cartoonists LIE about EVERY issue?

Sure. Bailing out corporations that fail is acceptable but bailing out working class Americans is the problem.

You’re not for sick leave other than how you can use it to smear Biden. Its the Republican way.
