And this is how you gerrymander a popular vote.

    AWWW!

Also some Amazon reviews for the physical reprints complain about strips that are repeated in print.

I don’t think I noticed such. Is it possible some people expected the stuff on paper to be book exclusive stories given Volume 6 and 8 not containing reprints?

Lots of moms think alot of things are cute. Might as well get used to it, Max.

Can someone name a serious issue where one has to say, “awwww” (in that kind of loving-sounding tone)?

I do like seeing max’s moms again. It’s been a while. it’s also nice that this isn’t cut and dry “aw isn’t that nice”. He does genuinely clearly appricate it, but at the same time it’s clear somethings up. Maybe he dosen’t like the attention, maybe he takes that as a sign she has feelings for him, maybe he just dosen’t know how to process it. We’ll see it tommorow.

I will say it is nice to get an arc for max that gives him a bit more to do than usual. He’s been kinda off to the side for a while as it feels like Dana struggled to figure out what to do with him compared to the rest of the major side cast: LSH is an endless fountain of ideas and can be used sparingly, Dakota has had a very prominent and steady arc the entire run of the strip, phoebe’s parents play off her well and todd is todd. But Max feels like he’s kinda.. stuck comedically and emotoinally at where he came in. This arc possibly exploring his shyness and possibly neurodivergence (I say that as someone with autisim who relates heavily to the guy even if he needs more to do) could help.

Max has a point. The majority isn’t always right.

Max is embarrassed by Phoebe’s essay about him and the attention he is getting!

He’s right. About the outvoted thing, not this being a serious issue. This is all very uninteresting news.

    Well…that’s potentially very subjective, Max.

True, facts are not subject to votes. Which may be why politicians hate them so much.

“awww” is a pretty confusing syllable/prefix/word… So far I’ve identified 4:

“awe” (as in “awesome!”)“aw” (as in “awful”)“ah!” (as in “ah-hah!”)

and now we have “awww” (as in…???)
