Love to see the roles reversed here. Somehow I doubt if Cathy ever stop worrying about the way she looks.
Wow! What a week. Did not get time to read or comment since last Wednesday when my younger daughter gave birth to our first (and probably only) grandson. He was 6 weeks early but was already 6lbs 2oz which surprised the doctor. He was in the incubator for only 1 day but still has to stay in the hospital for a few weeks since, although he is breathing on his own, his lungs are not fully developed. We are all thrilled of course – except for my daughter since she was discharged and now has to make the trip to the hospital a couple of times a day. Still, the alternatives are not so great.
Of course, by being early she was not able to attend my older daughter’s bridal shower this past weekend. Everyone agreed though that she had the best possible excuse for not being there. We all had to scramble to make the shower a success since my younger daughter was the one who planned it and has all the supplies – but lives over 5 hours away. Everything worked out just fine as all had a great time (so they tell me – I was not allowed to attend as I am not female)
lightenup – please pass on my congratulations on her successful completion of high school. I am sure she will be a success in her chosen career path.
