When my cat Colette has one of her rare aloof moods, all I have to do is be especially nice to my other cat Raz and make sure that Colette knows it’s happening. She comes around pretty quickly after that. :)

When I first started dating my wife – and that was about 50 years ago, her family had a dachshund. If I kissed my future wife anywhere near Shorty we got the same reaction – lots of barking and growling. Of course poor Shorty could not jump high enough to land on my wife’s shoulders but he would try to push me away.

As expected, feeling much better today. Not normal, or as close to normal as I get, yet but maybe tomorrow. Thank you for the well wishes. They are certainly helping.

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

    Feel the love …

Irving and Cathy are probably lucky to still be in one piece after this turn of events, too.

    HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.

“Come now, Watson, you know a dog won’t attack if you’re with its owner!”

“You know it, and I know it. Are you quite sure the dog knows it?”

—from one of the old Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies.
