Trump barred attendees of his presidential announcement from leaving Mar-a-Lago until he was done
“Donald Trump announced his latest bid for the White House to a practically captive audience at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida on Tuesday night,” reported Ed Mazza. “ABC’s Jonathan Karl called the speech ‘incredibly low energy’ and said he saw people leaving in the middle of it ― until they were blocked from departing.”
Further, according to the report, “ABC’s Olivia Rubin filmed a crowd forming near the doors, waiting for a chance to leave as Trump rambled in the background.”
It was a plodding, monotonous, boring old low-energy tirade of lies and bad teleprompter reading. So painful, almost everyone changed away from the coverage.
So bad, even Stupid Henry Payne couldn’t get behind it.
MAGGIE HABERMAN: There is nobody who knows better than Rupert Murdoch that the way to upset Donald Trump is not to say his name. And so it isn’t just that he is not the full front page, that he is the banner on the bottom.
It’s that he’s identified as Florida man and they’re not trumpeting him.
There is a move away from Trump. I don’t want to overstate this. He is still the frontrunner. He is still the establishment. He is still a former president. But there are a number of people in the Republican Party who are going to start making clear that they think he is really bad for the party in ways that I think they couldn’t quite articulate the same way in, say, 2016 because he didn’t have a record. January 6 hadn’t happened. We haven’t seen all the election denialism of the last 20 months. And so I think all of that becomes a compelling factor.
We don’t believe you have finally seen the light about X-45, Henry; you’ll be back kissing his Trumprump the minute you think he might have a chance at the presidency. (God forbid!)
Looks like another orange loyalist abandoning their one true savior. Just because you take off the red hat does not mean we cannot see the traitorous “T” tattoo you still sport.
It’s fun to watch Trump disciples run away from him now. It’s like Peter denying he knew Jesus. My question is – what are they going to do with all the Trump voters who are unlikely to be as amused as I am watching this train wreck?
Henry, ignore the personality and focus on his accomplishments when he was President. He kept promises, unlike prior Presidents of either party. Deeds speak louder than tweets, right?

I guess Henry’s finally paying attention to what trump’s been doing since he entered politics. Better late than never, I suppose.

YOUR GUY, Payne!
His character has not changed, even a little bit, from 2016 and before.
.
He’s STILL the same Stable Genius he always was. And the Best Negotiator in Human History, remember?
.
Don’t tell me you’re going to turn on The Messiah, Henry?

Murdoch turned against tRump. Suddenly, lots of RWNJ gocomics political cartoonists have turned against tRump.
Co-inky-dink, no doubt.
