Happy birthday Charley Brown.

Yes, today would be the 100th birthday of Charles M Schulz, had he not passed away in early 2000, at 77.

That said… I volunteered for a time at the Charles M. Schulz Museum, so I learned a fair amount about his life and career.

I do get the pun on “personal stylist” (sorry if that’s a spoiler for anyone) and I see that these are caricatures of Charlie Brown and Linus…

 

but I don’t get what a tablet and stylus, or even a customer and stylist, have to do with these characters.

AFAIK, neither Charles Schulz nor Charlie Brown were stylists nor used tablets, nor did Charlie choose outfits for Linus.

Anybody?

A fashion forward comic. Look how many round headed men are wearing over sized t-shirts and baggy shorts every day, everywhere? Good grief!

Charlie doesn’t get out to the old ball field to exercise much any more.
